Conventional metallographic preparation entails taking a representative sample from a work piece or part by cutting. This method is not always appropriate as it destroys the component which is being examined. This method used to examine the microstructure of metals directly on-site, without taking any physical samples. This method useful for large or critical equipment where taking samples is impractical or impossible. We have portable equipment and advanced replica techniques that enables a complete evolution of the surface without damaging the whole part.
